Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Balananda Sharma has appealed to all the Non-Resident Nepalis (NRNs) around the world to contribute to the prosperity and development of Nepal through their knowledge, skills and capital.
Addressing the 12th convention of the Non-Resident Nepalis Association (NRNA) here today, he urged all the Non-Resident Nepalis (NRNs) to remain united and actively participate in the nation-building campaign.
Minister Sharma expressed the belief that the new working committee of the association would move ahead in a more effective and effective manner. “We will now move ahead more united and the cooperation will be even closer,” he said. ”
He also urged the Non-Resident Nepalis (NRNs) to contribute to Nepal’s development through the exchange of knowledge, skills and technology along with investment, and give priority to the promotion of Nepali language, culture and identity in the international arena.
Minister Sharma said the commitment shown by the NRNA community in relief and rescue and rehabilitation in the latest situation seen in the West Asia was commendable.
He also pledged that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would play the required coordinated role to connect the experience, skills and capital of Nepalis living abroad with Nepal’s prosperity.
He also expressed appreciation to the Non-Resident Nepalis (NRNs) who have been working abroad to protect and promote Nepali language, culture and identity. He also expressed the belief that the new government would create an environment conducive for Nepalis abroad to return home and contribute.
In the end, Minister Sharma extended his best wishes to the new working committee of NRNA for its successful tenure.
