Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHH) has directed Nepal Police to investigate into any incident that could affect Nepal-China relations and take action against the guilty.
According to the letter issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said that it was aware of the details of the letter and the incident mentioned in the letter has been sent to the guilty for action.
China had drawn the attention of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s book ‘The Governance of China’ to the burning of a book titled ‘The Governance of China’ at the Manmohan Technical Institute in Morang.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs along with a diplomatic letter received from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Kathmandu had written to the Ministry of Home Affairs to investigate the incident and take action against it.
The Ministry of Home Affairs has written to the police for necessary action. The Ministry of Home Affairs has directed the District Administration and Police of Morang to bring the culprits under the legal ambit to investigate into the incident.
