Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Prabhu Bank Limited has launched a nationwide programme aimed at promoting financial literacy under its ‘Global Money Week 2026’.
Under the campaign launched under the slogan ‘Smart Money Talks’, the bank’s Bouddha branch has conducted a one-day ‘Accounting for Growth’ program.
A total of 47 entrepreneurs from micro, small and medium enterprises (SKSVs) participated in the program held at Hotel Anuttara, Bouddha. According to the bank, the participants were provided detailed information about the process required for availing financial services, documents and the qualifications required to get loans from financial institutions.
According to the bank, such programs are aimed at making financial access to businessmen, connecting them to the formal banking system and helping in the expansion of their business.
At present, the bank has been serving more than 36 lakh customers through 312 branches, 285 ATMs and 68 extension counters across the country. The bank has been expanding its quality banking services with the slogan ‘We take trust, we give confidence’.
