Kathmandu. The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is starting orientation for its newly elected members of the House of Representatives from today.
During the orientation, lawmakers would be briefed on parliamentary practices, policy formulation, working procedure of the parliament and responsibilities of the people’s representatives and the policies to be adopted by the party, according to NC Spokesperson Manish Jha.
The RSP won 182 seats in the first-past-the-post and proportional representation (PR) elections held on March 4.
RSP General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti has already issued a six-point directive to the newly elected lawmakers to attend the orientation programme.
