Kathmandu. KATHMANDU — The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) has elected a new executive committee unanimously.
The president of the association, Dr. Hemraj Sharma (UK) has been elected unanimously. Likewise, Robin Prasad Sherchan (Japan) has been elected the senior vice-president.
Roshan Thapa (Zambia), Buddhi Subedi (America), Chinta Mani Sapkota (Spain), Dadiwal Khadka (Japan), Dinesh Pokharel (Australia), Gopi Krishna Kafle (Canada) and Dr. Baburam Bhattarai have been elected vice presidents. Those elected unanimously are Gyanendra Regmi (Australia), Junu Gurung (South Korea), Kamal Mani Guragain (Qatar), Khagendra Neupane (Malaysia), Lok Prasad Dahal (Belgium), Mahendra Oli (Australia), Manoj Kumar Shrestha (UAE), Prabin Gurung (Qatar), Purna Chandra Baniya (America), Rabin Raj Bajracharya (America), Ram Sharan Simkhada (UK), Rojina Pradhan Rai (UK), Tanka Prasad Gaire (Japan), Tilak Gaire (Portugal) and Bishwa Deep Tigila (UK) ।
Radhika Gurung (Hong Kong) has been elected the woman vice-president while Bhimsen Thapa (Portugal) has been elected the youth vice-president.
Dr. Likewise, Anuja Pradhan (Belgium), Bedraj Basnet (America), Dinesh Kumar Ghimire (UK), Parasmani Pokharel (Japan), Rajendra Aryal (Saudi Arabia), Mohammad Muktada (Qatar) and Pratap Shah (Australia) have been elected unopposed.
Likewise, Abhimanyu Basnet (Canada), Dipesh Khatri (Germany), Madan Raj Poudel (Australia), Madhav Dulal (Canada), Prasuna Kandel (UK), Shiva Prasad Poudel (Japan), Sujan Adhikari (Australia), Sujan KC Khatri (Kuwait), Supendra Ghising (Japan), Yagya Narayan Poudel (Spain) (UK), Bhawani Prasad Timilsina (UAE) and Ramesh Bhatta (Qatar) have been elected as secretaries.
Likewise, Amrita Thapa (China), Krishna Timalsena (UK) has been elected the Treasurer, Abdul Basid (Qatar), Bimal Subedi (Qatar) the joint treasurer and Ganga Khatiwada (South Korea) the joint treasurer.
Rashmi Thapa (Canada) has been elected as the woman coordinator and Nabin Niure (Japan) as the youth coordinator.
Regional Coordinators in Africa Manoj B.K. Likewise, Bhuwan Kharel (Canada) has been elected in the US, Deepak Prasad Kandel (Japan) in Asia Pacific, Robot Limbu (Portugal) in Europe, Ramesh Shrestha (UAE) in the Middle East and Ramesh Joshi (Australia).
Likewise, Netra Pandey and Samrat Thapa have been elected as sub-regional coordinators of the Americas region.
Likewise, Bhabindra Basnet (Thailand), Chhatra Bahadur Dahal (Japan) and Lal Singh Khadka (Cambodia) have been elected as sub-regional coordinators for the Asia Pacific region. Tilak Ram Bhattarai of the United Kingdom has been unanimously elected as the sub-regional coordinator of the Europe region.
Bikal Jha from Oman, Bikash Shahi and Bishnu Lal Shrestha from UAE and Karim Bux Miya from Qatar were elected as deputy regional coordinators for the Middle East region. Chhabi Prasad Sapkota, CK Bhusal and Hemanta Kafle of Australia have been elected as sub-regional coordinators of the Oceania region.
Sangita Adhikari (Japan), Baba (Rajeshwari) Thapa (Austria) and Sarita Bhandari (Qatar) have been elected for the post of Women Coordinator in Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East Africa, America and Oceania.
Radha Sigdel (Germany) and Manju Malla (UAE) have been elected unopposed for the post of sub-regional woman coordinator. Ram Thapa (Japan) has been elected as the Asia Pacific Sub-Regional Youth Coordinator, Shiva Sagar Budhathoki (Portugal) as the Europe Sub-Regional Youth Coordinator and Sujan Sapkota (UAE) as the Middle East Youth Coordinator and Omen Gauchan (UK) and Basudev Sapkota (Saudi Arabia) as the Sub-Regional Youth Coordinator. Likewise, Deepmala Dhakal (Hong Kong) has been elected as the coordinator of the second generation.
Som Sapkota has been unanimously nominated as the spokesperson of the International Coordination Council (ICC).
