Balen unanimously elected parliamentary party leader

. KATHMANDU — Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) leader Balen Shah has been unanimously elected the parliamentary party leader.

According to party general secretary Kabindra Burlakoti, the decision was taken to elect the leader of the party on consensus without voting after discussion among the top leaders.TAG_OPEN_div_10 Balen Shah was unanimously elected as the PP leader.

The party leadership was elected on the basis of consensus to maintain unity in the party. Preparations are underway to hold a central committee meeting to formalize the decision.

The RSP is said to have chosen Balen as the leader with the expectation of playing an effective role in the new political situation.TAG_OPEN_div_6
