Kathmandu. On the occasion, Prime Minister Sushila Karki expressed gratitude to the state government and all security agencies for their significant role in holding the elections in Madhes Province and Dhanusha in a peaceful manner.

Addressing a security meeting held at Janakpur Airport today, Prime Minister Karki thanked Minister for Home, Communications and Law of Madhes Province, Fakira Mahato, high security officials of the province and security chiefs of Dhanusha Province for making the elections successful.

Prime Minister Karki lauded the role played by the state government and security bodies in holding the historic election amidst various doubts and challenges.

Acting Chief Secretary of Madhes Province Kamal Prasad Bhattarai, Chief of Madhes Province Police Deputy Inspector General of Police Govinda Thapaliya, Chief District Officer of Dhanusha Prem Prasad Dahal and chiefs of various security bodies were present in the meeting.
