Kathmandu. Sagar Dhakal has announced his candidacy for the post of central member of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI).
Nepal Stock Brokers Association President Dhakal has announced his candidacy for the post of central member of the FNCCI.
The Executive Committee meeting of the Association has unanimously decided to field Dhakal as the party’s central member candidate. A meeting of the working committee of the association held some time ago has decided to play a significant role in making Dhakal the central member.
Dhakal said that he has filed his candidacy for the post of central executive member of the federation on behalf of the Stock Bus Brokers Association as more than 72 lakh investors are associated with the capital market of Nepal and to strongly advance the capital market as the backbone of the country’s economy.
“At present, more than 72 lakh investors are involved in the capital market and the market cap of the capital market is around Rs 50 trillion,” he said, adding, “This should be taken forward as a mirror of not only the capital market of Nepal but the entire economy.” I have announced my candidacy for the post of central member of the FNCCI in the election of the FNCCI in order to promote the overall investors and the capital market of Nepal. ’
Dhakal, who has been involved in the capital market of Nepal for the past two years, has been involved in capital market, hydropower, hotel tourism, agriculture, among other sectors. He further shared that he would go to the central working committee of the FNCCI and engage in policy-level lobbying with the government to resolve the problems of industrialists and entrepreneurs. “There are many problems in the capital market as well as in Nepal’s industries and businesses. I have filed my candidacy for the post of central member of the federation to address the demands of the new government by addressing the problems of the businessmen as a new government is in the process of forming a new government after the Jenji movement. ’
