Persa. Birgunj Customs Office has collected Rs 154.84 billion in revenue in the first eight months of the current fiscal year.

The office had set a target of collecting Rs 175.31 billion revenue in the first eight months of the current fiscal year. Information Officer of the Office Udaya Singh Bista said that revenue has increased by Rs 13.36 billion in the first eight months of the current fiscal year compared to the same period of the last fiscal year.

In the current fiscal year, revenue of Rs 18.44 billion was collected. The government had collected Rs 20.73 billion in August, Rs 19.9 billion in September and Rs 17.33 billion in October.

Similarly, Rs 20.80 billion was collected in November, Rs 20.20 billion in December, Rs 18.92 billion in January and Rs 19.34 billion in February.
