Kathmandu. The government has decided to implement the recommendations made by the Gauri Bahadur Karki Commission formed after the Genji agitation on September 7 and 24.

The first meeting of the Council of Ministers held today took the decision to this effect, said government spokesperson and Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Sasmit Pokharel.

According to him, a study committee will be formed in the case of security mechanism among the individuals and agencies recommended by the commission and implementation will be carried out as per the recommendation submitted by the committee.

The anti-graft body has recommended 10 years jail term to then Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak and IGP Chandra Kuber Khapung.
