Mahendranagar. Geeta Chaudhary, 33, of Asaina, Shuklaphanta Municipality-4 in Kanchanpur district, was appointed as the Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development and Forest and Environment.

Geeta, who was elected as a proportional representation member from Kanchanpur constituency-2 from Rastriya Swatantra Party, is the first Tharu woman from the Chaudhary community to become a minister in the federal government. Chaudhary completed her secondary education from Rastriya Secondary School, Pipaladi, which is a primary school student at Janajyoti Basic School in Shuklaphanta Municipality-3, Jonapur. She completed her Bachelor’s degree from Kathmandu School of Law and Master’s degree from Nepal Law Campus. Chaudhary is also a lawyer.
Geeta, the eldest among seven sisters and one brother, used to speak out against the discrimination in the society since childhood. “We are happy to announce that he has become a minister from a low-income family. Geeta’s father Jayaram, who is educated and educated, said that he has struggled a lot to educate his children.
“I have been managing my household expenses and children’s expenses by doing farming and shuttering work lately,” he said. ”

Chaudhary is married to Sunil Chaudhary of Sainamaina of Butwal and has a daughter. Geeta’s husband Sunil teaches at the Agriculture College. Chaudhary is also a karate player who likes to be associated with various clubs, children’s clubs and organizations. Chaudhary said, “Geeta’s struggle in the midst of miserable condition of the house is inspiring. ”
In the 2079 BS election to the House of Representatives, Geeta was elected to the Far-Western Provincial Assembly. Even when he was a first-time candidate, he got respectable votes. Chaudhary, who recently joined the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), was fielded as the proportional representation candidate from the constituency.
