Kathmandu. Newly appointed Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle has said that he will not harbor any political prejudice and will end bribery. Addressing the employees at the Ministry after his appointment as the Finance Minister, he urged the employees to remember the essay on ‘How to build the country’ written while passing the Public Service Commission.
He said that they have come with an important mandate of economic and political importance and now reforms will be carried out not only through regular process but also by dissolving them if necessary. “I am not here to criticize the bureaucrats,” he said. He said he would not harbor any political prejudice and would focus only on merit and honesty. Urging the employees to stay away from the old partisan influence, he indicated that decisions focused on public interest would start from today itself.
Strongly against bribery, he said, “Now the time is over to capture and take bribes or feed them. He said that economic restructuring would be done to bring the economy on track and the economic governance would be transformed through the upcoming budget.
