Kathmandu. Preparations have been made for the swearing-in ceremony of the newly-appointed Prime Minister at the President’s Office, Sheetal Niwas.

According to Article 76 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal, Balendra Shah, the parliamentary party leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, has been appointed as the Prime Minister.

President Ram Chandra Poudel is scheduled to take oath of office and secrecy from President Ram Chandra Poudel today.TAG_OPEN_span_6 After the swearing-in of the Prime Minister, the ministers to be appointed today are also preparing to take oath.

High-level officials, chiefs and representatives of Nepal-based diplomatic missions and distinguished personalities from different walks of life are scheduled to attend the swearing-in ceremony.
