. Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, has directed the concerned authorities to deliver such services in a way that the people could feel immediately.

Issuing directives to the high leadership of the Ministry today, he stressed the need of making service delivery more effective, transparent and citizen-centric. “A clear action plan, time-bound implementation and a responsible work style are needed to achieve the government’s goal of increasing agriculture production through sustainable development of energy sector, proper utilization of water resources and expansion of irrigation system,” he said. ”

Pointing out the need of coordination, discipline and result-oriented work culture in the ministry, Minister Shrestha directed the employees to work with full commitment, honesty and high morale towards their responsibilities.

He also stressed the need for all sides to move ahead together towards achieving self-sufficiency in energy sector, expressing his commitment to enhancing the overall efficiency of the ministry by maintaining effective coordination between policy, plan and implementation by transforming the challenges seen in the coming days into opportunities.
