Kathmandu. At present, there is influence of westerly as well as local winds in Nepal. The weather will be generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous region and partly cloudy in the rest of the country due to its influence.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division, Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, said light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is taking place at one or two places of the hilly and mountainous region of Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather will be generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous areas and partly cloudy in the Tarai region towards the afternoon. Likewise, moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at some places of the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and at a few places of the hilly and mountainous regions of Madhes and Koshi provinces.

Similarly, there will be generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous region including Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and partly cloudy in the rest of the areas tonight. Light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is likely to occur at one or two places of the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.
