Kathmandu. On the second trading day of the week, the stock market closed higher in the pre-open session. On Monday, the NEPSE index increased by 2.86 points to close at 2,881.97 points. The sensitive index fell 0.13 points in the session.

A total of 6,143 units of shares worth Rs 3,254,374.70 were traded in 203 trades of 59 companies in the pre-open session on Monday. Of them, the price of 22 companies has increased while the price of 26 companies has decreased. The prices of the remaining 13 companies remained unchanged in the session.
