Kathmandu. Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle urged the private sector to carry out industry and trade with honesty and the government would extend wholehearted support to them.
He said that a strong government has been formed now and there is a lot of hope and confidence of the people in the formation of this government.
Minister Wagle said this during a meeting between the Minister and the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) on Monday.
The political stability sought by the private sector has been achieved and now the time has come to achieve economic prosperity, he said.
“We’re going to address something different from the budget. “On the very first day of our arrival, we have repealed 15 laws and sent a message that the government and our party are liberal and cooperative towards the private sector,” he said. Urging the private sector to do industry and trade with honesty, Minister Wagle pledged to wholeheartedly support the private sector.
On the demand of the private sector for the construction of model industrial park and facilitating it, Finance Minister Wagle said that initiatives would be taken to create investment-friendly environment by bringing in a multinational big company or its investment. He pledged to provide all kinds of support to the private sector. He said the government was committed to the security of the investment of big and multinational companies. “We will provide all kinds of support. You should be encouraged to invest. Create an environment conducive for foreign investment,” he said.
