Kathmandu. The stock market has started falling immediately after the government issued a 100-point agenda for governance reforms.
The government released the agenda last Saturday. Since then, the stock market has continued to fall except on Tuesday. Investors argue that point 45 is the main reason for the decline in the market.
In order to systematize the corruption control, the NRB has been asked to establish an integrated digital asset registry that includes bank accounts, digital wallets, share investments and other financial activities within 100 days, implement a risk-based indication system and automatically identify suspicious transactions and start investigation process through the concerned authorities. The government plans to set up a system to control corruption by digitally tracking all economic activities in the next 100 days, automatically detecting suspicious transactions and sending them to the concerned authorities. If any irregularities are found, the file will be sent to the concerned bodies, CIAA and police and those bodies will carry out the investigation.
