Kathmandu. CPN (UML) parliamentary party leader Ram Bahadur Thapa demanded fair investigation into the incidents of damage to public property, vandalism and arson that took place on September 7 and 24 during the anti-Genji agitation.

In the very first session of the first session of the House of Representatives, he demanded a probe into the violence.

CPN-UML Vice-Chairman Thapa congratulated the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) for winning the election with the support of the largest party. He said that although the election to the House of Representatives has given them space as a small party, they would move ahead facing challenges.
