Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has again warned not to operate and conduct transactions on banned online betting sites and platforms. The government has already banned online betting and platforms.

According to Bureau Spokesperson Shiva Kumar Shrestha, all have been requested not to indulge in any illegal activities. The bureau has made it clear that if this is done, the equipment will also be confiscated.

According to the Bureau, the police will arrest and investigate the criminal offense in accordance with the Civil Code-2074 BS and the guilty person will be jailed or fined or both along with the amount earned through betting and also the used equipment.

The bureau has requested the people not to carry out any transactions on any of the banned betting online apps or platforms.
