Investment Board Establishes Investor Facilitation and Grievance Redressal Desk

Kathmandu. Investment Board Nepal (IBN) has set up an investor facilitation and grievance redressal desk.

A hearing desk has been set up for the service delivery related to the operation of the one-stop service center. Joint Secretary of the Investment Board Hemraj Tamang informed that the Investment Board was preparing to operate a digital one-stop service center and as part of the initial phase, a desk has been set up to create a more conducive environment for the investors.

According to Tamang, investors will be able to get information about investments, put their problems and complain through the desk. The IBN has prepared a schedule to submit a decision proposal to the Council of Ministers for the same-stop service delivery after the establishment of the Grievance Hearing Desk in coordination with the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, prepare to establish a one-stop service center, coordinate with government bodies and departments and operate an online portal of one-stop service.

Similarly, the Board has prepared a schedule including submitting a draft of working procedure related to one-point service for approval and ensuring budget arrangement. The meeting of the Council of Ministers held on March 27 had decided to establish a one-door system under the Investment Board Nepal to provide services as per the stipulated time to domestic and foreign investors in an integrated manner and within the stipulated time.
