Kathmandu. From now on, the government offices will be closed two days a week. A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Sunday took the decision due to the difficulty seen in the supply of petroleum products.

Government spokesperson and Education Minister Sasmit Pokharel said that the government has decided to give public holiday on Saturday and Sunday to come into effect from April 7. With the addition of holidays, the office hours have also been revised.

The government offices will now be open from 9 am to 5 pm. In the case of educational institutions, this time does not apply.
