With the government’s decision to give public holiday two days a week, the same provision has been implemented in banks and financial institutions as well.

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has issued

a notice on Sunday.

Banks and financial institutions (BFIs) have been asked to open their service from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. Similarly, the office has been asked to operate from 9 am to 4 pm from November 30 to January 29. According to the Rastra Bank, this is a governor-level decision.
