Far-West. Chief of Sudurpaschim Province Nazir Miya appointed Province Assembly member Shivaraj Bhatta as the Minister for Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment on the recommendation of Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah.
He was appointed as the minister on the recommendation of the Chief Minister and Nepali Congress parliamentary party leader. Newly appointed Minister Bhatta is a member of the Provincial Assembly of the Nepali Congress from Baitadi district. The Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment has been without a minister for a long time.
Newly appointed Minister Bhatta took oath of office and secrecy before the Province Chief today.
The province chief formed the Council of Ministers and distributed work in accordance with Article 168 (9) of the Constitution of Nepal. The work division is as follows:
