Kathmandu. At present, there is influence of westerly low pressure system and local winds in Nepal.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather is generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous areas of the country including the Sudurpaschim province at present while the weather is mainly clear in the rest of the areas.

According to Meteorological Forecasting Division, light rain and snowfall is likely to occur at some places of the hilly region of Gandaki Province, at a few places of the hilly region of Karnali Province and Sudurpaschim Province and at one or two ÷places of the hilly region of Lumbini, Bagmati Province and Koshi Province.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather will be generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous region and partly cloudy in the rest of the country towards the afternoon. Light rain will occur in some places while light snowfall is predicted in high hilly and mountainous area.

Similarly, there will be partly cloudy in the hilly region and mainly fair in the Tarai region tonight. Light rain and snowfall along with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at some places of the mountainous region of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali provinces, and at one or two places of the mountainous region of Bagmati, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.
