We have put forth a clear opinion on the stock market in the manifesto, no investors should follow the rumours: Finance Minister Dr Khatiwada Wagle

Kathmandu. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle has saved the golden time for Nepal’s economy.

He said this in a meeting with the Stock Brokers Association this morning.

“Let no one follow rumours and false rumours,” he said, adding, “We are the most liberal party in the share market and put forth a spot opinion in the manifesto.” But now rumours are being spread. I urge everyone not to follow this. ’’

He said that Nepal should be brought out of the grey list and good governance should be carried out for it. He said that the government would bring Nepal out of the grey list on time.

During the meeting with the association, he said that some of the investigations are old and such investigations are now in the final stage. He said that the perpetrators of the crime will not be spared, but they will not retaliate selectively.

Minister Dr. Wagle said that the government is private sector friendly and it can be known by looking at its first decision. “The RSP and the government are not against the private sector. The budget is going to be transformative and historic since 2048 BS. ’’

During the meeting, the brokers said that people who have come out after selling shares in the market and are collecting shares from the market are spreading false rumors. They said that due to the false rumors in the market, due to which small investors are panicking.

The brokers suggested that it was necessary to adopt market facilitation measures for institutional investors, that the research on the private sector was justified but the research should be kept confidential and the suggestions of the capital market reform task force should be implemented.
