Kathmandu. The stock market rose on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week. On Wednesday, the NEPSE index increased by 45.12 points to close at 2,802.52 points.
Today, along with the stock market, the trading volume has also increased. Shares worth Rs 8,441 were traded on Wednesday.
Shares worth Rs 6.73 billion were traded on Tuesday. Share prices of all 13 sub-groups increased today. The production and processing sub-group saw the biggest rise on Wednesday. The share price of this sub-group has increased by 3.87 percent today.
Likewise, the indices of hotel and tourism sub-group increased by more than 2.5 percent while the indices of banking, development bank, investment, life insurance, microfinance and non-life insurance have increased by more than 1.5 percent.
Shares of 7 stocks traded at a positive circuit level today. Shares of Reliance Spinning Mills, Srinagar Agritech Industries, Solu Hydropower, Hotel Forest Inn, Super Khudi Hydropower, Ridge Line Energy and Suryakund Hydro Electric were traded in the positive circuit level today.
On the basis of transaction amount, SY Panel Nepal is in the highest position today. Today, the company’s shares worth Rs 46.81 crore have been traded. Similarly, shares of Reliance Spinning Mills worth Rs 42 crore were traded today, while the turnover of Shivam Cements crossed Rs 37 crore.
