Kathmandu. Swiss Ambassador to Nepal, Daniel Maiwali, paid a courtesy call on Minister for Home Affairs Sudhan Gurung at the latter’s office in Singha Durbar today. During the meeting held at the Home Ministry, Ambassador Maiwali congratulated the visiting Minister and wished him a successful term.

on the issue of non-deposit of illegally earned money from corruption and other crimes in Swiss banks by Nepali high-ranking officials {{}}

Home Minister Gurung has urged the ambassador to take the necessary initiative to make arrangements for bringing back the amount if it is found that the money has been deposited by the two countries.

On the occasion, the ambassador expressed commitment that the Swiss government would collaborate with the Swiss government to further strengthen early warning system for climate change and disaster risk reduction in Nepal.
