Kathmandu. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that Lebanon is not part of Iran’s ceasefire. Israel continued its attacks on southern Lebanon on Wednesday.

The strikes are being carried out as a continuation of operations against the Iran-backed armed group Hezbollah. Israel has issued an evacuation order for more than 40 kilometers of Lebanon because of the war in Lebanon.

According to Lebanon’s state news agency, Israel carried out the attack after issuing a warning to evacuate buildings in the southern Taire region. Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron welcomed the ceasefire and said he wanted to ensure that the ceasefire fully included Lebanon.

Israeli attacks have killed more than 1,500 people and displaced more than a million in recent years. According to Lebanese officials, Hezbollah dominates, especially in the south, east and southern suburbs of Beirut.

In an evacuation order, the Lebanese army warned the displaced people not to return to the south. Eight people were killed in an Israeli attack on the southern city of Sidon shortly before the ceasefire was declared.
