Kathmandu. Nepal Telecom has implemented an arrangement of increasing the package of its prepaid service from 28 days to 30 days.
NTC said that the validity of the ‘Combo-299 Pack’ has been extended from 28 days to 30 days from Tuesday night.
The decision has come into effect immediately after the discussion between Minister for Communication and Information Technology Bikram Timilsina and Nepal Telecom. According to Rina Dangol, Officiating Managing Director of Nepal Telecom currently a 28-day package has been converted to 30 days and all packages of the same period would be converted within 30 days by coming April 24.
NTC’s customers are expected to be directly benefited from this arrangement. With this situation in place, it will now be enough to recharge once a month, which will make the use easier. In addition, customers will get additional facilities on data, voice and SMS as they will get two more days of service at the same price.
It is also believed that it will simplify expense management and increase consumer satisfaction. This service of NTC is taken as a consumer-friendly improvement and it is expected to further dynamic the competitive environment in the telecom sector.
