Kathmandu. For the first time in Nepal’s history, shares will be traded 6 days a week. According to Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) spokesperson Murhari Parajuli, the trading of shares will remain open on Friday as well.

Prior to this, the trading of shares was only from Sunday to Thursday. However, the government has now announced a two-day public holiday on Saturday and Sunday.

According to Parajuli, the share market was opened on Friday as Sunday is a public holiday. From next week, trading will be conducted regularly from Monday to Friday.
