Kathmandu. At this time, the election of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), an umbrella organization of the private sector, has heated up the market. The 60th annual general meeting and election will be held on April 12 and April 13 to elect a new working committee under the leadership of Anjan Shrestha.

The excitement of the election in the federation is increasing. Some securities brokers are also involved in this election. Similarly, Stock Brokers Association of Nepal (Stock Brokers’ Association of Nepal) has fielded 3 former presidents, incumbent president Sagar Dhakal and broker Raj Kumar Timilsina are contesting in the election.

Sagar Dhakal is the only president of the association in the election. He is contesting the election from the panel of Naresh Lal Shrestha.

Priya Raj Regmi, former president of the Brokers Association, is also in the election of FNCCI. He has filed his candidacy for the post of associate from Prabal Jung Pandey group.

In the upcoming elections, Bharat Ranabhat from Jyotsna Shrestha group is contesting under associate category. He is also the former president of the association.

Similarly, another former president of the association, Dharma Raj Sapkot, is also contesting the election. He is a candidate for the associate category from Shiva Ghimire Group.

Broker Raj Kumar Timilsina is also contesting the election. He is an associate candidate from Jyotsna Shrestha’s group. Out of the 5 brokers who are contesting in the upcoming elections, 4 are in the associate category.
