Kathmandu. The Department of Foreign Employment has directed the Department to remove misleading information related to ‘labour permit’ from cyber centers and training centers (institutes) around the department by April 13.

The Department has asked the government to remove the information about ‘labour is carried out here’, ‘work related to labour permit’, ‘labour online form is filled’ or any other misleading information related to labour going abroad to the service seekers going for foreign employment.

According to the Department, the Department of Foreign Employment and the designated Labour and Employment Office have the provision to provide labour permit. Issuing a notice today, the Department has urged the government to immediately stop the writing and publicity that creates confusion in the works.

According to the Department, action would be taken as per the Foreign Employment Act, 2064 and other prevailing laws if the information is violated.
