Kathmandu. KATHMANDU — The general assembly and election of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) is scheduled to be held on May 4 and 6 following the Patan High Court’s order.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the office-bearers of the Federation today.

The meeting decided to hold the election after holding legal consultations on the issue of court cases. A meeting of the central committee of the FNJ has been called on April 9 to endorse the decision of the office-bearers’ meeting of the FNCCI.

The Patan High Court had postponed the election and general assembly scheduled for April 29 and 13. The court halted the election following a complaint filed by the Petroleum Transport Federation of Nepal.
