Kathmandu. The stock market closed higher in the pre-open session on Friday, the last trading day of the week. In the pre-open session, the NEPSE index increased by 6.52 points to close at 2857.76 points. The sensitive index has increased by 0.94 points.

A total of 5,305 units of shares worth Rs 3,329,195 were traded in 149 transactions of 64 companies in the pre-open session on Friday. The price of 34 companies has increased while the price of 18 companies has decreased. The prices of the remaining 12 companies remained unchanged in the session.
