Bharatpur. Minister for Home Affairs Sudhan Gurung has directed the security personnel to be ruthless in controlling criminal activities including narcotics.

He directed the chiefs of the security bodies in the district to maintain good governance as per the public expectation and to remain strict in controlling the incidents of narcotics and drugs.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Govinda Puri, chief of the District Police Office, said that Minister Gurung has directed the government to provide efficient service in a way that the people can feel.

Home Minister Gurung inspected and inspected various places in the district today. He inspected the landslide-prone areas along the Narayangadh-Muglin road section on Saturday night and directed the concerned authorities concerned to carry out widening works so as to avoid recurrence of problem during the rainy season.

Home Minister Gurung left for Nawalparasi (East) today to inspect the Daunne road section along the East-West Highway.
