Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: NIC Asia Bank has provided support to Helping Hands Nepal (Sahara Ghar) for the helpless people of Bardagoriya Rural Municipality-2, Kailali as a part of its corporate social responsibility.

Sahara has provided dining tables, benches and water dispensers to provide clean drinking water to make the stay of the dependents in the house more comfortable and healthy.

Dipak Bista of Circle Head-Dhangadhi handed over the equipment to the chairman of the bank, Bal Bahadur Bista, who has been providing shelter to 97 people including children, women, people with special abilities and elderly people.

Sahara has been providing shelter to the helpless, dependent, children and people in need of assistance. The bank believes that the support provided by the bank in this noble cause of Sahara Ghar will help in providing safe drinking water facilities to the dependents of the organization.

Earlier, the bank handed over educational materials to the students of Peace Service Home and also provided scholarships to poor, meritorious and disadvantaged and physically challenged students from Grade VI to Grade 10 in various government and community schools of all seven provinces. In addition to this, the bank has been providing scholarships to meritorious students of government and community schools and has established library buildings in various government and community schools in all seven provinces.
