Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Police have arrested Mohammad Seif of Dallu of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-15 on the charge of illegally transacting cryptocurrency.

According to Pawan Kumar Bhattarai, information officer at the District Police Range, Kathmandu, the chef was arrested based on information that he was involved in the transaction of non-physical currency, Kipto currency.

Police have seized two mobile phones of different companies used for the transaction. According to the police, more than Rs 198.1 million 49 thousand 581 transactions were found during the investigation.

KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu District Court has remanded the accused in custody for five days for further investigation.
