Palpa. Police seized 60 quintals of illegal urea fertilizer. Police confiscated the huge quantity of fertiliser along the Siddhartha Highway road section at Aryabhanjyang of Baganaskali rural municipality-3 in the district.

The mini-truck (Lupra 01-001 Kha 0959) en route to Butwal from Syangja was stopped and 60 quintals of fertilizer was confiscated in course of checking, said Police Inspector Kushal Singh Thakuri, information officer at the District Police Office.

He said, “Fertilizer has been brought without invoice. Where Krishak Urea Distributor Agriculture Inputs Company Limited, Kuleshwor, Kathmandu is written. Police Inspector Thakuri said that the seized trucks and drivers have been sent to the Revenue Investigation Office, Rupandehi for necessary action.
