Palpa. At least three persons died in a jeep accident at Chiuribas of Nisdi rural municipality-4 in Palpa district this morning. Eight people were injured in the accident.

The ill-fated jeep (Lu 1 Ja 3908) en route to Rampur from Mityali of Nisdi met with an accident today.

Information Officer at the District Police Office, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Hom Prakash Chaudhary said that three persons travelling in the jeep died in the accident. The identities of the three deceased are yet to be ascertained, he added.

Eight people were injured in the accident. The injured have been rescued and sent to Madhyabindu Provincial Hospital, East Nawalparasi for treatment, said Information Officer Chaudhary. The cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained.
