Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Newly-appointed Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security, Rajendra Singh Bhandari, has said that he would work to manage the conflict in the country as per his capacity and ability.
Minister Bhandari has assumed office at the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security in Singha Durbar. After assuming the office, he pledged to perform at a fast pace though the tenure of the government is very short.
Minister Bhandari said that he would prepare an action plan to break the web of organised crime as he had worked as the founder of CIB for long.
“The negative gap between the police and Genji generation has to be removed,” Minister Bhandari said, adding, “Now, we have to make them realize that not every police force is oppressive and not every Genji is destructive.” According to him, the pain of the Nepal Police is the same as that of the Nepal Police. He said that both sides have suffered losses and the voices of both sides can be taken to the cabinet.
He became a minister nearly a decade after retiring from the police service.
