Kathmandu. The talks between the talks committee formed by the government and the Mega Campaign on Nationality, Religion, Culture and Citizens were held in a cordial atmosphere.

Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Jagadish Kharel, who is also the government spokesperson, said that the talks held at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology this evening proved fruitful.

Minister Kharel said, “Positive talks were held between the government and the Citizen Save Mega Campaign in a cordial atmosphere. Both sides exchanged pleasantries in a cordial manner. A preliminary understanding has been reached to continue and address it by doing internal homework. ”

Prem Limbu, a central member of the campaign, said that the talks were held in a positive and cordial atmosphere. He said that an agreement has been reached to move ahead by resolving the demands raised by the mega campaign through phased talks and dialogue by doing internal homework.

Minister for Information and Communications Jagadish Kharel, Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister Ajaya Bhadra Khanal, Public Relations Advisor Govinda Narayan Timilsina and Devi Prasad Sangraula and Prem Thapa Magar led by Secretary Prem Dipak Limbu from the government side.

Following the conclusion of today’s talks, the team led by campaign coordinator Durga Prasain will hold talks with Prime Minister Sushila Karki.

The government has been holding talks and dialogues to hold the elections in an easy manner by creating a political environment along with the election. The government had formed a high-level political dialogue committee a few days ago to hold talks with various political parties and stakeholders.

The other members of the committee are Communications Minister Kharel and Chief Political Advisor to the Prime Minister Ajaya Bhadra Khanal. Under the committee, an internal facilitation and problem resolution committee was formed under the convenorship of Minister Kharel to hold talks with the political parties and various sides. The same committee held talks with the mega campaign team today.
