Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Jagadish Kharel, has said that Nepal and China have been good neighbours for a long time and Nepal has always remained committed to One China Policy.

Addressing the fourth edition of the ‘China-Nepal Media Summit’ in the capital on Thursday, Minister Kharel appreciated the Chinese government’s continued support for development and harmony in Nepal.

China has made significant contributions especially to the infrastructure development of Nepal, he said. “China has been a friendly neighbor of Nepal for a long time”, Minister Kharel said, adding, “I express my gratitude to the government and people of China for making equal contribution especially in the promotion of infrastructure development, economic development, education, health, tourism, culture and heritage development of Nepal.” ”

Mr. Zhu Feng, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China to Nepal, talked about various dimensions of Nepal-China relations. Chinese and Nepali media discussed international issues in the summit organized by South Asia Network Television and Nepal China Media Forum.
