Kathmandu. The Himalayan Rim Film Exhibition has concluded. The programme was held at Kathmandu University.
The program started from Tribhuvan University. The programme had facilitated China-Nepal cultural exchanges.
The program held at Kathmandu University had informed about technology and Chinese animation culture.
The programme was launched from Kathmandu University last Wednesday. A special screening of The Spirit of the Mountains was also held at the event. The students were able to experience new explorations of Chinese animation.
On the same day, there was a screening of the white snake, an online conversation with the creative team and an interaction about the blind box. The theme of ‘The Fate of Past Life’ was explained about the discovery of the classic Legend of the White Serpent.
The main attraction of the workshop was ‘Fingertip Creations’ held last Thursday.
Nepali artisans explained the making of traditional handmade paper and its daily uses. Working in groups, the students used locally sourced eco-friendly paper to create posters inspired by films such as Yang Jian, The White Serpent, and The Legends of Hei 2.
Zhang Yan, a professor at Beijing Normal University, spoke about “AI-Driven Transformation and Innovation in the Film Industry”. It was about how AI is reshaping filmmaking and industry development.
