Department fins three hotels including Rainbow

. The Department of Commerce, Supply and Consumer Protection has slapped a total fine of Rs 45,000 on three hotels.

According to the department, Thakkhola Thakali Kitchen Kathmandu has been fined Rs 15,TAG_OPEN_div_6 000, Pakkala Pvt Ltd Rs 10,000 and Indreni Food World and Banquet Rs 20,000. The action was taken as per Section 39 (1) of the Consumer Protection Act, 2075.

Similarly, the department has issued corrective directives to other hotels and eateries TAG_OPEN_div_4 Of the 18 hotels and eateries monitored by the department, 15 were given corrective directives and three were fined cash.
