Lays foundation stone for two projects to be built with Indian assistance of Rs 8 crore

Kathmandu. The foundation stone has been laid for the construction of a school building for Rajya Laxmi Secondary School at Siddhicharan municipality-5 in Okhaldhunga with the assistance of the Indian government.

The building was jointly inaugurated by Consular at the Embassy of India, Kathmandu, Abinash Kumar Singh and Okhaldhunga’s Mayor Tejan Khanal.

The building of Rajya Laxmi Secondary School in Siddhicharan Municipality-5 is being constructed with the financial assistance of more than Rs 40 million from the Government of India, according to the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu.

The new building will have three and a half floors. The project has been taken forward as a high impact community development project and will be implemented through Siddhicharan Municipality of Okhaldhunga.

The foundation stone has been laid for the construction of a building for Ninyukharka Secondary School at Dhurkot rural municipality-3 in Gulmi district with the assistance of the Government of India. Consular at the Embassy of India, Kathmandu, Gitanjali Brandon and Chairperson of Dhurkot Rural Municipality, Gulmi, Bhupal Pokharel, jointly laid the foundation stone for the building.

The Indian Embassy in Dhurkot Rural Municipality-3 is going to construct its school building at a cost of Rs 38 million with the financial assistance of the Government of India.

The new infrastructure will include a two-storey school building with furniture, classrooms and other support infrastructure. The project has been taken forward as a high impact community development project and will be implemented through Dhurkot Rural Municipality of Gulmi.
