Taplejung. Vehicular movement has been disrupted along the Mechi highway at Bhadikhola area of Pathibhara Yangbarak rural municipality-1 due to landslide.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bed Prasad Gautam informed that the landslide occurred this morning triggered damages to the canal above the highway at the area.

A police team from Mewakha police post in Taplejung has been deployed to the incident site. He said that the police team has been taking initiatives to resume the road by coordinating with the Road Division Office and the local level.
