Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court (SC) has dismissed a writ petition filed against the probe commission formed by the government.
The government had formed a high-level probe commission under the convenorship of former justice Gauri Bahadur Karki after the agitation on September 7 and 24.
A writ petition was filed against Karki demanding the dismissal of the commission. Today, Supreme Court Justice Dr. Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma, MD A full bench of Justices Nahakul Subedi and Shreekanta Poudel issued the order to dismiss the writ petition.
Karki was the coordinator of the commission while Bigyan Raj Sharma and Bishweshwar Prasad Bhandari were the members.
