. The government has decided to celebrate the 15th of Poush every year as National Mushroom Day.

The meeting of the Council of Ministers held at Singha Durbar today decided to observe the 15th of December as the National Mushroom Day, according to government spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Jagadish Kharel.

The meeting also endorsed the Nepal Citizenship (Fourth Amendment) Regulations. According to him, the government has also decided to grant work permit to Nepali citizens who have gone to Iraq in course of foreign employment and have obtained visa there if they submit an application along with the original and photocopy of the residency card while coming to Nepal.

He also said that the directive on sending trainee workers to Japan has been scrapped. Likewise, the meeting also decided to establish the Area Administration Offices at 9 different places, said Minister Kharel.
