Kathmandu. There is partly influence of the Westerly wind across the country.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, mist will occur in most places of the Tarai region towards the afternoon. The weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly and mountainous region of the country. Light rain will occur in some places while light snowfall is predicted in high hilly and mountainous region of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

Likewise, there will be fog in most places of the Tarai region tonight. The weather will be partly cloudy in the mountainous region of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki Province and Karnali Province while it will be mainly clear in the rest of the country.

Light rain and snowfall is likely to occur at one or two places of the high hilly and mountainous region of Gandaki province. The Meteorological Forecasting Division has urged one and all to stay alert as fog in the Tarai region will be affected on daily life, health, roads and air transport.
